Lagoon Site
A conceptual plan has been developed for the largest of the eagle point parks, the Lagoon Site. The 48-acre Lagoon Site was once the city's sewer lagoons, prior to the city becoming a part of Rogue Valley Sewer. A feasibility study was completed in 2004, identifying the potential of a multiple-sport field complex that could include active and passive uses such as:
  • Access to the 1,860-acre Denman Wildlife Area
  • Barbecue grills
  • Baseball/softball
  • Designated dog area
  • Drinking fountain
  • Gazebo/shelter
  • Little Butte Creek access
  • Open grass area
  • Picnic tables
  • Recreation program
  • Restrooms
  • Seating area
  • Soccer
  • Trail/walking path
  • Wildlife observation areas
