Future Amenities

A
conceptual plan has been developed for the largest of the eagle point parks, the Lagoon Site. The 48-acre Lagoon Site was once the city's sewer lagoons, prior to the city becoming a part of
Rogue Valley Sewer. A feasibility study was completed in 2004, identifying the potential of a multiple-sport field complex that could include active and passive uses such as:
- Access to the 1,860-acre Denman Wildlife Area
- Barbecue grills
- Baseball/softball
- Designated dog area
- Drinking fountain
- Gazebo/shelter
- Little Butte Creek access
- Open grass area
- Picnic tables
- Recreation program
- Restrooms
- Seating area
- Soccer
- Trail/walking path
- Wildlife observation areas
