City Maintained Trees

The Public Works Department maintains the trees at the city-owned parks and facilities and some street trees. The street trees on Main Street and Platt Avenue are maintained by the city. Generally the trees in the planter strip are maintained and replaced by the property owner. On occasion, street trees may be trimmed by Public Works to prevent damage from street sweeping operations, or if the trees are blocking street signs.
