Court is held on the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm and on the third Thursday of each month at 9:00 am at Eagle Point City Hall, Council Chambers.
The Eagle Point Municipal Court is served by Judge John Blackhurst and Court Clerk Devon Linebaugh and is a court of limited jurisdiction. It has jurisdiction to hear and determine cases regarding offenses arising under the municipal code for the city, as well as motor vehicle and traffic violations.
Cases appearing in Eagle Point Municipal Court are usually traffic infractions or city ordinance violations. An infraction is a violation of or failure to comply with certain provisions of the Motor Vehicle Code, local ordinance, or other law or statute. The punishment of an infraction is a fine.
