Eagle Point National Cemetery
About the Cemetery
Eagle Point is home to the Eagle Point National Cemetery, which is one of three national cemeteries in the State of Oregon. Opening in 1952, the National Cemetery was established as an adjunct to the Veterans Administration Domiciliary in White City.

Avenue of Flags
Eagle Point supports and recognizes our veterans on most holidays with a display of flags. The Avenue of Flags begins at Highway 62 and makes it way along a designated route toward the cemetery grounds. The flags line the designated route and are all donated casket flags offered by families of fallen veterans. A memorial display recognizing those who have donated the flags is located in the Ashpole Community Center next to the Eagle Point City Hall. The cemetery grounds overlook the Eagle Point Golf Club and the Eagle Point golf community in the southern portion of the community.
